Results

This study focused on fixed wing aerial application via Single Engine Air Tankers (SEATs), but the data and recommendations are valid in evaluating ground application efficacy.

The Colorado Fort Collins SEAT base personnel used MAGS for mixing FireIce dry concentrate powders, including FireIce561 and FireIce HVO-F. They commented that MAGS was the “fastest, cleanest, and most precise system” they used during the study, with the highest capacity and most sophisticated mixing technology.

MAGS should be considered for use where multiple loading pits might be used, and when loading large air tankers, since it is specifically designed to accommodate those operations.
